Policies
At Two Tails Grooming Salon, we schedule every dog by appointment in a time slot individualized to their size, coat type, and temperament in order to give them our utmost undivided attention, which keeps stress levels to a minimum by completing the groom as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Time is extremely precious to us, and in order to remain as efficient as possible, we ask you, the client, to respect the scheduled appointment time.
Late Policy
Late arrivals can shift our entire schedule, which is an inconvenience to us and clients that are scheduled after your appointment. To keep appointment times running smoothly, we ask that you show up for your appointment on time. If you need to drop your dog off early, we have the flexibility to be able to make those accommodations.

We offer a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals. If you are 10-minutes late and your groomer can still accommodate you there will be a $10 fee +$1/minute after that. For example, if you are 20 minutes late and we can still accommodate you, there will be a $20 fee added to your appointment.

If it reaches a point when your groomer can no longer accommodate you for the service that was scheduled, we will first offer what we can given the amount of time remaining in your appointment slot. Please be advised that we still have to charge full-price for what was scheduled.

Or, we will need to reschedule your appointment in the next available time slot, and a same-day cancellation fee of 100% of the scheduled service will be charged to the card on file.
Late Pick-Up Policy
Our salon closes 15 minutes after the last dog is completed. After that time, there will be a fee of $1/minute that you are late to pick up your dog.
We will provide communication to the clients as to when that time is. If your dog is scheduled as the last dog of the day, we will provide a 30-minute heads up to when your dog will be ready, and then you have 15 minutes after they are completed to be here to pick up your dog before closing to avoid a fee.
Vaccinations
The only vaccination that we require is the rabies vaccination, due to state law.

Because of the free-roam environment, we highly recommend Bordetella and Distemper (and any other vaccines that you deem necessary when in an environment with other dogs), but it is not required.
Cancellation and No-Show Policy
Dog grooming requires a significant amount of time to complete. When changes are made last minute, it is very difficult to fill the spots that were previously reserved. Therefore, we require ample notice when changes need to be made to the scheduled service.

If you cancel or reschedule the day before your scheduled appointment, a fee of 50% of the scheduled service will be charged to the card on file.
​
If you do not show up for your appointment or if you cancel or reschedule the same day as your scheduled appointment, a fee of 100% of the scheduled service will be charged to the card on file. If no-shows and late cancellations become a habit, we reserve the right to turn you away for future appointments.

This policy also applies to nail trims and other a la carte services.

As a courtesy, we will send a reminder text or email 5 days prior to your appointment time, and a confirmation text or email will be sent the day before your appointment.
